Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the Sandia Oil operations application handles information used to run stores, support employees, and secure access.

Information we handle

  • Account information such as name, email address, user ID, role, and assigned stores.
  • Operational content such as fuel pricing, revenue records, loss reports, tasks, comments, and issue details.
  • Files and images that users choose to upload, including profile photos and task attachments.
  • Technical and security information such as request logs, device details, and authentication events.
  • App-installation identifiers, notification delivery identifiers, notification preferences, and delivery status.

How we use information

We use this information to authenticate users, enforce store and role permissions, provide application features, preserve operational records, investigate errors, respond to support requests, and protect the service.

Service providers and disclosure

Sandia Oil uses service providers, including Amazon Web Services for authentication, APIs, storage, and hosting, Expo for application build, update, and notification delivery services, and Google/Firebase for Android app-installation identifiers and push-notification delivery, and Apple for iOS push-notification delivery. These providers process information needed to operate their services, including installation or device identifiers and notification payloads. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or needed to protect users, Sandia Oil, or the service.

We do not sell personal information, serve advertising, or track users across other companies' apps or websites.

Notifications

In-app notifications show work relevant to your account, such as assigned tasks and store price changes. Push notifications are optional. If you enable them, we associate a delivery identifier with your account and device and send notification content through Expo and the platform notification provider. You can change push permissions in device settings. Declining push does not remove the in-app inbox. Platform services may process app-installation identifiers even when push permission is declined.

Photos and files

The application requests access to photos or files only when a user chooses an item to upload. Users can change device permissions at any time, although doing so may prevent uploads.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as needed for operations, security, legal obligations, and audit history. Some corrected or deleted operational records may remain as restricted audit entries. We use access controls, encrypted connections, and managed cloud infrastructure to protect information, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

Children

The application is a business operations tool and is not intended for children under 13.

Account and data deletion requests

Sandia Oil administrators provide organizational accounts; the app does not offer public account creation. To request deletion of your Sandia Oil app account or associated personal data, request access or correction, or ask a privacy question, email chase@sandiaoil.com from your account email address and describe your request. We verify your identity before acting. Operational records, restricted audit entries, and information needed for legal or security obligations may need to be retained even after account access and eligible personal data are removed.
